From Reagan National Airport (DCA)
You can take a taxi or the Metro, both of which are very reasonably priced given the airport's close proximity to Washington, DC. By Metro: Take the Blue Line from National Airport to the Capitol South stop (at C and First Street). Walk up 1st Street toward the Capitol, turn right on East Capitol Street and continue 4 blocks to 506 East Capitol. By car: From the airport, take the George Washington Parkway North to I-395 (toward Washington, DC). From I-395, take the 14th Street Bridge into the city. Keep left off the bridge, and follow signs for U.S. Route 1 (14th Street SW). Turn right off 14th Street SW onto Independence Avenue SW. Continue on Independence, past the Capitol, then take a left onto 2nd Street SE. Continue to East Capitol Street, and turn right on East Capitol. Continue 3 blocks to 506 East Capitol, which will be on your left.

From Dulles Airport (IAD)
The best way to get to Washington, DC, from Dulles Airport is to take a taxi or the Super Shuttle. The Metro does not go to Dulles Airport. If you are driving from Dulles, see instructions below from points West, Southwest or Northwest.

From Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI)
You can take a taxi, Super Shuttle, or an Amtrak or MARC train. Both trains stop at Union Station. From Union Station, walk up 1st Street toward the Capitol. Turn left on East Capitol Street, and continue 4 blocks to 506 East Capitol Street. If you are coming by car from BWI, see instructions below from points North.

From points West (I-66), Southwest (Route 50 E) or Northwest (I-270 S) Take I-66 into the city via the Roosevelt Bridge. Once over the bridge, you will be on Constitution Avenue NW. Continue on Constitution past the Capitol (note: Constitution doglegs to the left and then to the right just before the Capitol building). Take your first right past the Capitol building onto 1st Street NE. From 1st Street, take your second left onto East Capitol Street, and continue 4 blocks to 506 East Capitol, which will be on your left.

From points South (I-95 N)
Follow I-95 North to I-395 North (toward Washington, DC). From I-395, take the 14th Street Bridge into the city. Keep left off the bridge, and follow signs for U.S. Route 1 (14th Street SW). Turn right off 14th Street SW onto Independence Avenue SW. Continue on Independence, past the Capitol, then take a left onto Second Street SE. Continue to East Capitol Street, and turn right onto East Capitol, and continue 3 blocks to 506 East Capitol, which will be on your left.

From points North (I-95 S)
Follow I-95 South to I-495 East and then to I-295 South (Baltimore-Washington Parkway), and take I-295 South into the city. Take the East Capitol Street/RFK Stadium exit off of I-295 South. (Note: after you have been on 295 for some time, you will come to a fork in the highway. The right fork will say "Washington." The left fork will say "Richmond, Virginia." Take the left fork to Richmond. Approximately 3 miles after the fork (on the road to Richmond) you will come to the East Capitol Street/RFK Stadium exit. Go around RFK stadium and continue on East Capitol Street to 506 East Capitol Street.

From points East (Route 50 W)
Take Route 50 West into the city. Route 50 will become New York Avenue NE. Turn left off New York Avenue onto North Capitol Street. Continue on North Capitol to Massachusetts Avenue NE. Turn left onto Massachusetts. From Massachusetts, turn right onto First Street NE (note: Union Station will be on your left). Take a left onto East Capitol Street, and continue 4 blocks to 506 East Capitol, which will be on your left.
